I am not changing into superfan.  I am keeping it in perspective, but if I must be sequestered in a hot, loud, boisterous arena for eight hours a day, with nothing to do but watch games, then it is good to see a quality team play, sharing the ball, celebrating their successes individually and as a team, decimating opponents with superior skill and team play, without automatically making making the opposing and neutral fans hate them...the USA women’s team seriously punish their opponents, but after they beat Russia the other day, even the Russian fans applauded them….
